Public Transportation

STAPLES Center is located at 1111 S. Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles, next to the Convention Center. There are many alternative forms of transportation to STAPLES Center events, including Metro Rail and Metro buses which frequently stop near STAPLES Center.

Metrolink

Metrolink operates train service within Southern California from Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura, Orange, and North San Diego Counties. They now have special weekend passes for only $10 which includes free rail and bus connections that stop a street away from L.A. LIVE. Metro Rail

If you're coming to STAPLES Center or L.A. LIVE by rail, Pico Station is only a 2 minute walk and the 7th Street Metro Station is only a 7 minute walk. To find the route that's best for you, use the Metro Trip Planner or contact Metro at (323) GO METRO or (323) 466-3876.

Metro Blue Line Service Advisory

Effective February 1, 2010 due to construction for the future Expo Line, the Blue Line will be operating on a modified schedule over the next several months on select weeknights and weekends. Metro Trip Planner and Google Transit may not reflect these changes, so please check the exact times posted at metro.net. Riders using the Red or Purple Lines are just a 7 minute walk to STAPLES Center/Nokia Theatre/L.A. LIVE when exiting at 7th Street/Metro Center.
